Ted Biet is most well known for his prize-winning Rising Card effect.

He moved to Holland around 1946 and was one of the editors of the Dutch magazine "Hocus" and a member of one of the oldest Dutch magic club 'HANDS DOWN'.

Biet contributed to Harry Lorayne's Apocalypse and was on the Genii 1982 June cover.
