The Black Wizard of the West (fl. 1920s) was reportedly killed while performing the Bullet Catch in Deadwood, South Dakota in 1922.[1]

Biography

He made a lot of money catching bullets as he hawked his bogus elixirs.

His wife murdered him on stage, switching the gun for real bullets, and then turned the gun on herself with the .45 caliber pistol.[2][3]
