The Magic Wand Correspondence Club was formed in September of 1951 by then 18 year old Arthur Andrews, Jr. and Harris Ruben of Bayonne, New Jersey.

In just over a year they had over 100 members, who were served by their official publication M. W. C. C. Monthly.

They merged with the Lads of Legerdemain into the The Teen-Age Magicians of America in 1954.
