Vernon “Stubby” Winiecke (1921-2011), who retired from C&O Railroad where he worked as a rail car inspector, was a magician who performed under the name "Ver-Lou-Win".[1]


Biography

Winiecke served his country in the U.S. Navy, loved umpiring baseball games, and was an avid reader.[2][3]

He was a member of S.A.M., F.C.M. and the I.B.M.. Began magic as a hobby at the age of twelve. He worked stand-up and close-up at schools, private parties, senior citizen centers and private clubs.[4]
