Peeler is an effect by Paul Harris published in Close-Up Entertainer (1979). It was also included in the Art of Astonishment Book 2 (1996).
Effect
The performer "scrapes" off the back of a playing card leaving a jagged tear then completely restores it, handing out the card for examination.
