Prentice Taylor also known as "Roylat the Great," was an avid collector, amateur performer, champion of his community, and family man (12 grandchildren).[1]
He went to Polytechnic School and Flintridge Prep in Pasadena, then went on to graduate from the University of Southern California in 1953. He married Janet Leichtfuss the same year and, moved to Texas where he served in the Army for two years.
He started captivating people with his slight of hand tricks at an early age and continued sharing his love of magic through out his life. He was a collector as well as a performer. He was a longtime member of the Magic Castle and the Magic Collectors Association. [2][3]
