Deep BackClip, a Coin Concealments, is the creation of Dai Vernon. It has been used most extensively by David Roth and was published in Chapter 6 of David Roth's Expert Coin Magic (Kaufman, 1985).

Dai Vernon taught it to Larry Jennings and very few of Vernon's own techniques and applications for Deep BackClip have been published. The first appeared in The Gen, which was later reprinted in The Art of Close-Up, Vol. 1 (Ganson, 1967) as "A New Coin Change".[1]
