It later became the Association Française des Artistes Prestidigitateurs (A.F.A.P.) in 1945 and then the Fédération Française des Artistes Prestidigitateurs (F.F.A.P.) in 2008.
Agosta-Meynier (Auguste Meynier) was the first president.
