The Ellis Ring was a gimmicked ring developed by Jardine Ellis to perform the Ring on Wand effect.

It is usually a brass ring and can be used to:

  • penetrate onto a borrowed handkerchief -- while the ends are being held
  • pass through ropes
  • penetrate a spectator's thumb
