Jack Barrows (1935-2007), born in South Bend, Indiana, was a magic author, editor, shop owner and demonstrator.
Biography
Following his service in the U.S. Navy, Barrows, while a lab assistant for Elkhart Foam Products, opened a magic shop in Elkhart, Indiana called The Square Circle around 1970
He was a President of Magical Youths International (M.Y.I), served as a National Deputy to S.A.M. as well as its Regional Vice-President for Central Plains states. Barrows formed the S.A.M. Assembly No. 87 in Elkhart, Indiana and served as it's President.
Barrows published two magazines for younger magicians The Magician (Barrows) and The Magician Again in the 1970s.
He later moved to Colon Michigan to worked at Abbott's as chief salesman/demonstrator in their showroom. In 2004, me started working for FAB Magic (also in Colon).[1][2]
