World Magic Seminar is a yearly magic convention in Las Vegas that started in 1999 as a combination of the "Desert Magic Seminar" (held in Las Vegas since 1978) and the "World Magic Summit" (held in Washington D.C. since 1993).
A yearly teen competition is held and one was documented in the movie Make Believe (2010).
The sister organization, The World Magic Seminar Asia, is held every two years. It's ninth one was held during August 14-16, 2010 in Nagoya, Japan.
The last was held in 2011.
