Magical Criticisms was a quarterly Magic Periodical published by Hugh Mackay (of Scotland) under the pseudonym Sirius from 1921-1922. It offered critiques of then current periodicals (and later books and effects) "containing the unbiased opinion of one who is in no way connected with the trade side of Magic."

His wife Margaret Mackay was editor of volume 2, no. 1.

Mackay issued two subsequent periodicals under the same title in January 1942, "A War-Time Edition", though apparently quite different from the original magazine.[1][2]
