Fax was a periodical prepared by Harry Opel, a magician and juggler from the early 1900's.

During 1939, Opel cut the size of his current publication Voice from the Attic (1929 - 1952) in half (to 8 pages) and called these 12 issues the FAX (a nickname for "facts").[1]

Each issue, like the Attic, were handwritten and sent to a different person each month.[2]
