Robert "Bob" E. Clark (1907-1987) performed throughout west Texas in towns in the Permain Basin area for some 40 years as "Clark, The Magician". [1]
Biography
Clark worked his way through college with sleight of hand performances. While attending Howard College in Birmingham, Alabama, he gained a share of fame in magic playing the banquet circuit. [2]
Later he was employed as a teacher/coach by the Odessa Texas School system, retiring in the mid-70s.
A member of SAM and IBM, he was named to the Order of Merlin in 1987.[3]
