BornNovember 06, 1919
Sicily, Italy

Scalzo was only 4 years old when his family migrated to the United States. In 1941, he enlisted in the U. S. Army for two years.

In his thirties, Scalzo began his magic career with lessons from Slydini and later with personal instructions from Dai Vernon and Cardini.

When his wife, Sadie, decided to assist in the performance, the "Amazing Scalzo" became "Scalzo and Company".

Specializing in a Dove Act, The Scalzos played the top hotels, night clubs and luxury ocean liners all over the world.

Scalzo was later active in the magic community as a president and then life member of the Allentown Pennsylvania SAM Ring No. 32
