De Vega was the first President and W.P. Wilson the first Secretary but Duncan Johnstone soon took over as Secretary , which he held continuously for fifty four years.

Scottish Conjurers' Association was the fourth magical society to be founded in the city of Glasgow founded by Duncan Johnstone, Jimmy Findlay, De Vega (Alex M. Stewart) and Richard Armour in 1924.

De Vega was the first President and W.P. Wilson the first Secretary but Duncan Johnstone soon took over as Secretary , which he held continuously for fifty four years.

It's official organ is the Thistle.
