Jawn "John" Hrapkiewicz (?-1915) had a large collection of magical apparatus and performed for the substantial European communities
of Detroit area.
Biography
He immigrated to the United States from Berlin, bringing with him a large collection of foreign apparatus, in hopes of making his fortune.[1].
He was a member of the Society of Detroit Magicians and died on May 31, 1915, at his home as the result of an accident.[2]
