This is the story of a search to uncover the identity Erdnase, laying out the case for it to be Milton Franklin Andrews. The book describes the life of Andrews from the start of his career doing magic, to his conversion to a card cheat, and his travels around the world hustling in card games.

Includes details on Andrews three favorite magical card routines, an extensive technical section teaching the Erdnase Grip, and new ideas for the Erdnase Bottom Deal.

1,800 copies of the First Edition was printed.
