Carl S. Lohrey was a magician-dealer, specializing in books and treatises on magic.[1]

He was a president of the Dayton Blank Book and Printing Co. and the brother of Dayton mayor, Louis Lohrey.

Lohrey was I.B.M. member No. 36 and was named to the Order of Merlin - Excalibur, in recognition of his 50 years of active membership. [2]

Lohrey is credited with inventing the Mis-Made Flag in 1925.
