Retlaw Rendrag was an amateur magician and photographer in Ware Massachusetts.[1]

Rendrag has the distinction of assisting met Jay Marshall with his nickname. At a meeting of the Boston SAM assembly, Marshall was amused upon being introduced to Rendrag and discovering that Retlaw Rendrag was his real name backwards. He responded by introducing himself jokingly as The Great Jasper. Marshall's new nickname caught on. [2]
