1932 - Zamloch died.
1950 - Harry Usher died.
2001 - Lance Burton performs an upside-down straitjacket escape in Las Vegas as part of the U.S. Postal Service's unveiling of the new Harry Houdini stamp, which would be officially issued in July 2002 at the 100th anniversary celebration of the Society of American Magicians in New York City.
2006 - Kristen Johnson received the Master Award at the 4th Annual International Escape Convention.
