Brian Godfrey (1899-?), known as "Tish", was a semi-professional who did a cabaret act in London.

Biography

Originally started as a straight magic act and then developed a more comic version.[1]

He became known as "Tish " to magicians by using the word tish in his act instead of tissue. He created the "Sensational Packing Case mystery", "Card on Tape" and "Phantom Penetration" (Card Penetration).[2]
