L'Illusionniste (The Illusionist) was the first Magic Periodical in France.
The founder-editor was Jean Caroly (pen name of Jean-Auguste Faugeras) and it ran from Vol. 1, No. 1, jan. 1902 to Vol. 13, No. 151, july 1914.
"New series" began in 1947, edited by Guy Bert (pen name of Henri Guibert).
