1876 - William John Hilliar born in England.
1888 - Jim Sherman was born.
1947 - The Show Houdini Lives Again played for three days at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport, Connecticut, co-starring Sherms, the Master Magician (Bob Sherman) and Hardeen, Jr (Douglas Geoffrey).
1993 - Irving Desfor, famous for his photographs of magicians in action, passes away.
