- Compucard was originally slated to appear in the Masters of Magic series, and features a handful of original sleights, including a false cut called The Meir Mix, a revelation called The Slingshot Snap-Out, and an unusual flourish called The Card Sorting Move.
- An outgrowth of the climax of Royal Takeover appeared more than 25 years later in the January, 2008 issue of Genii under the name Radical Hold'em.
