David Leendert Bamberg (1787 - 1869), born in Holland, was the second generation magician in the Bamberg family.
David began his career as assistant to his father, Eliaser, before continuing on to success on his own. He was most known for his Egg Bag routine that ended with the production of a live chicken.
According to Houdini in his book The Unmasking of Robert-Houdin (1908), David inherited from his father the vaulting figure Automata made by Opre.
