James W. Farney (1908-1950) was a super market manager and amateur magician.
Biography
Farney served as President of the Quad City Society of Magicians in Davenport, Iowa, (I.B.M. Ring No. 11) and was serving as Chaplain of the organization at the time of his death.[1]
He was prominent in magical activities in that Quad-City area, particularly as a magical MC. He owned an extensive library of magic books.[2][3]
