Joe Garofalo (1899-1979), a clothier and real estate broker, served as president of the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians in 1951.[1]
Biography
During World War II, he performed at USO shows and war bond benefits.
Garofalo built a magic theater in the basement of his hillside home in San Jose, California. He was a member of the San Jose Mystic 13, where he was known as "Uncle Joe" to some of the members. [2]
