Professor Anders (c. 1864-1926) was the stage name of the French professional sleight-of-hand artist.[1]

Biography

Billing himself as "The Parisian Prestidigitateur," he was a exponent of The Chinese Rings and tricks of pure sleight-of-hand. He was a popular entertainer in London.[2]

The Professor was a member of The Magic Circle for many years. Born in the South of France, he died in hospital in London, at the age of 61, from chronic bronchitis and asthma.[3]
