W. Donald Forsyth (fl. 1900s), a contemporary of David Devant, was a semi-professional magician known as "The Caledonian Conjurer."

Biography

He became interested in magic in 1903 and played in England, Scotland, Wales, France and Belgium. [1]

His egg routine, "The Caledonian Mystery", was published by David Devant in his book Secrets of My Magic.

He joined the Magic Circle in 1922 while he was living in Llandudno, North Wales.[2] A picture of Forsyth standing with other British magicians can be seen in the Linking Ring, November 1954, page 95.
