Dr. Greer Marechal (1921-1968), a research chemist, was an amateur magician and actor.[1]

Biography

Marechal worked for Carbide and Carbon Chemical Corp., Charleston, W. Va. and served as "medic" in army during World War II. He got started in magic by assisting a school-mate in a performance and met Dr. Frank Taylor as an undergraduate at Princeton.

He later became a a patent lawyer in New York City. He operated the Carousel Food and Fun Park at the 1964-65 New York's World Fair having assembled the carved wooden horses from the old carousel which used to run in Coney Island.[2]
