Jim Auer (1928-2004) was a journalist, art critic and semi-professional performer of mental and psychic magic.[1]

Biography

Auer was an assistant to the editor of the Neenah-Menasha Twin City News-Record in Wisconsin. He also wrote a gossip column with Marion Drew under the name "Raynaud Riverton."

His tricks and routines have appeared in Ireland's Yearbook and Genii.[2]

Auer held I.B.M. number 19159 and was a member the S.A.M. Milwaukee Ring 41, the Houdini Club of Wisconsin, and the Psychic Entertainers Association.[3][4]
