Professor Okati (1892-1950) was the stage name of Etienne-Louis Pitou, a professional illusionist and director of the Cabinet Fantastique in Paris from 1933 until illness forced him to retire in 1947. [1]
Biography
In his youth, he was apprenticed to a metal worker, and later became a full-time professional magician.
In July 1933, he took over the Musee Grevin, Paris, and appeared there daily for many years.[2].
