Spirit Count

Spirit Count is a false count with cards that first appeared in Kabbala, Vol. 3, No. 4, 1976, by Gene Castillon. It hides the faces of two cards, when apparently showing four. For example, you can show an ESP packet with 2 stars and 2 circles as having 4 stars (or 4 circles).
It is basically an elaboration on the Jordan Count.
