A Card In the Hand Is Worth Two In the Deck

A Card In the Hand Is Worth Two In the Deck is a card routine inspired by Looy using the P.U.S.H. sleight. Three cards are selected and returned to the deck. A card is cut to which is not one of the selections. A spectator places this card half way into the deck, where it is seen to have located two of the selections The locator card is then turned face-up and shown to have changed into the third selected card.

Both the sleight and this routine were published in Close-Up Entertainer (1979).

Neither were included in the Art of Astonishment books.
