Carlos H. Colombi (1915-1990) was an award winning amateur magicians from Argentina.

Biography

Colombi became interested in magic in 1928 after seeing Fu Manchu (David T. Bamberg) on tour in Argentina who he would have a long and intimate friendship.

After moving to Buenos Aires in 1930, he obtained his B.A. at the Champagnat College, performing magic at their various entertainments. His first complete full evening show was given for the "Conferencia Vicentina San Juan de la Cruz" for which he was awarded the Society's medal in 1936.[1][2][3]

In 1948 he was awarded the Sphinx Award for his Phantom Flame effect.
