Sandy Shaner, wife of magician Bill Shaner (The Amazing Shaner), performed as occasionally Cotton Candy the Clown doing balloon animals with her husband and owned the Abracadabra Costume and Magic Shop in Dayton, Ohio.

Biography

Shaner bought a small costume shop from a close friend in 1994 and added a showcase of magic . She also made dove bags, pockets and magic costumes, the most unusual items were bags to produce a swan and a monkey. At the beginning she was just the wife of a magician who owned the costume and magic shop, but soon learned to sell magic you needed to demonstrate magic. Her husband was busy performing so had little to help with the shop. Off and on she would have local magic club member help with the demos. She closed the shop in 2009 when her youngest son passed away, who along with his brother was a big part of the costume end of the shop.

With the help of her husband they started IBM Ring 324 in Middletown, Ohio, which she served as secretary, as wells as a small local magic club at the shop.[1]

Sandy Shaner now sells magic on eBay, mostly antique letters and flyers from magicians of long ago.
